She also hosted the show's variety program It's Showtime from noon (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, who was an Australian attorney. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. In 1982, her father got married to Ojales. Jasmine, Jasmine's younger sibling is also a professional actor. Their father was a half sister known as Clare, who passed away in 2007 aged just four months, due to a heart disease.
